Episode 196 (and a half) – Could You Repeat the Question?

Mar 31, 2018 | | Say something

Curator’s Note:
During the live recording of the show, Shujin referred to this episode as ‘196,’ but in actuality it was 197. However, the numbering goes back to consistency after this one, so I just had to add this one in as Episode 196b or, 196 and a half.

Before Pete Hoekstra was made US Ambassador to the Netherlands, he famously said that there were politicians being burned in the streets and ‘no-go zones’ in the Netherlands. After taking that position the local news media called out on this lie, over and over again, refusing to let him stay quiet about the issue.

Isn’t this how we treat young children that lie to us? And why isn’t this being done more often in the news reporting agencies?
