Religious ideologies have a tendency for enforced conformity. And sometimes that comes about by gaslighting people about facts that are easily verified. Things like Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.

Looks like the Brainerd School Board in Minnesota wants to discount this specific scientific theory because it was originally mid-1800’s, “and it’s never been proven.”
