The X-Men comics were a way of examining Civil Rights, replacing minorities with Mutants; the X-Men’s Charles Xavier advocated for peaceful change and acceptance while Erik Lehnsherr led the Brotherhood of Mutants in a Peace Through Superior Firepower method. Their philosophies directly mimicked Dr. Martin Lunthur King Jr. and Malcom-X respectfully.

60 Years Later these struggles for equality are still happening; people of color, immigrants, political affiliations, language, religious beliefs…

How long should societal change take, and which path should it follow?
