A news story that “Unrenowned Tech” sent my way was… troubling. The TL:DR version is… a lesbian couple went to a pediatrician with their 6-day old child and were told, “Sorry – We don’t serve your kind here.”
…and by “We”, I mean the doctor and Jeebus.
So, here was Tech’s question: “When should doctors be allowed to refuse service based upon religious views? Does having a private practice matter?”
So tonight, let’s see where that takes us… since I expect there will be a LOT of side-topics to handle on this.
