Recently a 21 year old Georgia man, who police said had, “a really bad day,” drove over 30 miles to shoot and kill Asian women working at massage parlors because of his Christian guilt over his supposed, “sex addiction”. This person had been attending what was described as an, “elaborate set of extra-biblical rituals and teachings that became popular in the 1990s and were designed to build safeguards and ‘strongholds’ of sexual purity in Christian communities.”
So, the equivalent of “Conversion Therapy” but for straight folks; Saltpeter for the Soul.
So, are these institutions partly-responsible for forcing people into self-imposed chastity with a guilt chaser?
